  • Vehicle details (registration, make, model, type, colour, chassis/VIN, purchase date)
  • Your explanation of why the relevant certificate is not available
  • Digital signature consent and typed digital signature
  • Uploaded proof of address (PDF/PNG/JPG) dated within the last 3 months

3. Why we collect it (purpose)

We use the information you provide to review your submission and to respond with guidance relevant to your situation. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your data for advertising.

We process your data on the basis of:

  • Consent (where you tick consent boxes and submit your details)
  • Legitimate interests (to operate the service, respond to enquiries, and prevent misuse)

5. Uploads (proof of address)

Uploaded files are used only for reviewing your submission. Please avoid uploading documents containing unnecessary information where possible. We take reasonable steps to protect stored uploads, but you should only upload what is necessary.

6. Who we share data with

We may share your data only where necessary to run the service, such as:

  • Our website hosting provider (to host the website)
  • Email delivery/servers (to receive and send emails related to your submission)

We do not share your information with third parties for marketing.

We retain personal data only for as long as needed to manage and respond to your submission. Uploaded documents may be retained for a limited period for service and audit purposes and then deleted.
