Independent service: LostLogBooks.ie is an independent information and support service and is not affiliated with the NVDF or any government department.

1. Accuracy of information

You confirm that all information you submit is true, accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Submitting false, misleading or impersonated information may be refused and may be reported to relevant authorities where appropriate, and could lead to legal consequences.

2. What we provide

LostLogBooks.ie provides independent guidance and support to help you understand the process involved in replacing a vehicle registration certificate (logbook) in Ireland. We do not guarantee any outcome and we do not represent any government body.

3. Proof of address upload

You may be required to upload proof of address dated within the last 3 months. By uploading a document, you confirm you have the right to share it and that it belongs to you (or you are authorised to submit it on behalf of the person named).

  • Accepted formats: PDF, PNG, JPG/JPEG
  • File size limits may apply
  • Please redact unnecessary information where possible (e.g., account balances)

4. Digital signature

Where requested, you may provide a typed name as a digital signature. By ticking the consent box and entering your name, you confirm:

  • You are the person named in the form (or authorised to act on their behalf)
  • You intend your typed name to be treated as your digital signature for the purposes of your request
  • The signature reflects your agreement to these Terms and to the submission you have made

5. Communications

By submitting the form, you consent to us contacting you using the details provided (email/phone) in relation to your submission. We do not sell your data or send marketing spam.
